Weiner Roast 2021 - Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

Welcome to the Weiner Roast Silent Auction! Our auction will be online only this year. Bidding will open at 5 pm on Friday, June 11 and end on June 26, 2021 at 5 pm. We are deeply grateful for your visit to our auction website!

Finding a cure for cystic fibrosis (CF) is personal for our family because our two children, Matthew (age 26) and Melissa (age 24), are CF patients. CF is a genetic disease that causes chronic, life-threatening lung infections. When our kids were diagnosed in 1997, there was only a 50/50 chance they would survive to the age of 18. We are grateful that because of the research funded by the CF Foundation, there are now four (4) new drugs that have been approved by the FDA to treat the disease, and the median age of survival for people with CF has increased. But as parents, we simply will not be satisfied until our children can dream of their future just like everyone else.

Weiner Roast has historically been an in-person event, a family cookout in our backyard. 100% of the money raised at Weiner Roast is donated to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Metro DC Chapter. Due to the pandemic, Weiner Roast 2020 was held as a virtual event only -- and amazingly we still raised over $53,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation!

Since the pandemic continues, and social distancing is still necessary, we are doing a virtual event again for 2021. We would very much appreciate your support! We have no overhead so 100% of your money will go to the CF Foundation. Our work is done by volunteers and our family. Our family has raised more than $560,000 in the last 10 years, and we will not rest until every CF patient has the chance at a full lifetime!
