We Heart Bowness

Like many nonprofits and businesses, the BCA was hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Even when the community centre was closed down, BCA staff were still working hard to look after Bownesians, direct them to resources, and foster connection while we maintained a safe distance. We have slowly begun our reopening process, but need your help to continue serving the community of Bowness. Proceeds from the auction and donations will be used to:
-Continue distributing physical copies of the Bowest'ner to all Bownesians free of charge
-Renovate the second floor of the community centre as a unique gathering space for individuals and organizations

The mission of the BCA is to inspire Bowness, building a stronger community for all by respecting the history, diversity and natural beauty of Bowness; to provide a gathering place and hub of information; to create connections through recreational, educational, social and cultural opportunities; to foster an environment of collaboration and respect with all stakeholders.
