West Coast Multiplex Scramble Golf Fundraiser

The WCMS Scramble Golf Fundraiser celebrates its 20th anniversary and is holding its first online auction. The Society is a nonprofit driven by dedicated volunteers with no physical office and expenses kept at a minimum. The estimated capital costs to build the Multiplex Phase 1 - Arena is up to 18 million and the Society is responsible for raising all capital costs through grants, funding applications and donations.

This substantial undertaking rely on the support of the communities to raise funds for the Multiplex to become reality! The Society is applying for a second intake of capital funding in Oct 2020 to help secure most of capital costs. The entire process of networking and grant applications is extensive and is in hope to become reality within the next few years.

It is crucial for all eight surrounding communities to still show support to the Multiplex project and support our annual Golf Scramble Fundraiser Sept 19, 2020 held at the Long Beach Golf Course. BUILDING A RECREATIONAL FACILITY AT THE HEART OF EIGHT GROWING WEST COAST COMMUNITIES!

The project will feature an arena and pool and potential subsequent phases.

This recreational facility will be centrally located on ACRD land, along Airport Road nearby the airport and the Long Beach Golf Course.

A unique partnership between the Districts of Tofino and Ucluelet, Long Beach Area C and the First Nations communities of Ahousaht, Toquaht, Yuułuiłath, Tla-o-qui-aht and Hesquiaht.
