How the auction works:
A lower reserve price has been set for each work as well as a “BUY NOW” option. We chose this to allow you to have fun and participate in the bidding process but also to have the option to acquire the work immediately if you have your heart set on something.
To view the items on the auction page you will be prompted by 32auctions to create an account login with an email address and password in order to participate in bidding or purchasing.
If you select the “BUY NOW” option an invoice will be automatically generated and emailed to you. From this invoice is a link to pay securely online via Stripe. If you prefer to pay via bank transfer this can be arranged, please let us know.
Payment is not due until the exhibition closes on Sunday 2nd of May when the auction ends. We are also happy to arrange a 4 week payment plan on request.
More images of the pieces can be provided to you by email, or if you have any other queries please do not hesitate to get in touch by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
About Jo Dyer
Jo is a Newcastle based artist. She studied a Bachelor of Arts (Creative Arts and French) at the University of Newcastle which included a semester of study in La Rochelle, France. She graduated in 2008. Since graduating she has exhibited her work in many group and solo exhibitions in Newcastle, Melbourne and Sydney.
As a child, Jo spent a lot of time in the garden, observing plants and insects. She cites these formative years as a major influence on the type of work she creates, her inspiration largely drawn from the intricate, textural and often transient details found in the natural world.
About Clare Burton
Clare Burton is an Adelaide based fibre artist that creates unique and colourful woven wall hangings using yarn and fibres that she sources from local dyers and spinners whenever possible. Clare has always been a maker but discovered weaving late in 2014. After attending a beginner workshop that Christmas, she fell in love with the freedom of letting the yarn lead the way.
Clare rarely plans beyond the colours and yarn she wants to use, preferring to let the weave evolve as she works to create a piece that is one of a kind.
