Honey Bee and Pollinator Plate Auction

A new Honey Bee and Pollinator license plate will debut in Washington in 2026!

The Washington State Beekeepers Association (WASBA), as the sponsoring organization, was granted the right by the Washington Department of Licensing (DOL) to assign the first 25 low-numbered, first-edition plates. Five of these plates were awarded to individuals who played a key role in bringing the plate to life. The remaining 20 low-numbered plates will be offered through an auction, with each plate number auctioned individually.

Auction proceeds will support WASBA’s mission of honey bee and pollinator research and education. WASBA is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Auction payments are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law; please consult your tax professional.

Washington State Beekeepers Association advocates for honey bee and pollinator health and education in the state. It interfaces with academia and government to improve husbandry, research, and education for pollinators in the urban, native, and agricultural environments.
