World Autism Awareness Day 2018

Internationally acclaimed Australian artist Tim Sharp, most famous for his super hero Laser Beak Man, has created this bespoke artwork for auction/sale with all proceeds going Autism Awareness Australia.

April 2 is World Autism Awareness Day as decreed by the United Nations. In honour of this important occasion Tim has created “Shine Your Light’ – a beautiful and detailed piece showcasing what the day means to him as a young adult on the autism spectrum. Laser Beak Man stands in the middle of Australia shining his light a brilliant blue for all individuals on the autism spectrum and the families who love them. The AAA in the waves represents Autism Awareness Australia and the colours in the map reflect the landscape of our gorgeous country.

About Autism Awareness Australia

Autism Awareness is Australia’s leading voice for autism.

Our goal is simple: to improve the lives of all Australians on the autism spectrum and the families who love them.

We empower parents and carers with quality information and resources. We provide targeted educational programs to families, professionals and the broader community. We support inclusion for people on the autism spectrum… and we have some fun along the way too.

We know that families are the best advocates for their children, and we are here to ensure they have access to the best quality information and supports to help them along the way.
