Venezuela Earthquake Relief - Victoria BC

On June 24, 2026, two devastating earthquakes struck Venezuela, leaving thousands of families grieving the loss of loved ones, homes, and livelihoods.

In response, members of the Venezuelan community and friends in Victoria, BC organized this online silent auction to help provide urgent humanitarian assistance to those affected.

Every item has been generously donated by local businesses, artists, and community members who believe in standing together during times of crisis.

How It Works
Winning bidders will be contacted by email within 48 hours of the auction closing. 
Instead of paying the auction organizers, winners will make their donation directly to one of our trusted relief organizations working on the ground in Venezuela. 
After making the donation, winners simply email us their donation receipt. 
Once the donation has been verified, we will arrange pickup or delivery of the auction item.

This process ensures that 100% of every contribution goes directly to earthquake relief efforts in Venezuela.

Trusted Relief Organizations

• Global Empowerment Mission (GEM): Emergency food, clean water, hygiene kits, temporary shelter materials, and essential humanitarian assistance.
• Cáritas Venezuela: Emergency food, shelter, hygiene supplies, and community-based relief through local church networks.
• Direct Relief: Emergency medical supplies, equipment, and support for hospitals and healthcare providers.

The Venezuelan Canadian Society of BC was created in 2013 with the purpose to unite Venezuelans living in the province of British Columbia, Canada.

We are a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), envisioned to promote Venezuelan culture and share our traditions with the Canadian multicultural landscape.

We run events throughout the year to this end and to raise funds to help with the Humanitarian crisis currently affecting Venezuela.
