Union Pacific LEAD/Komen Auction

All funds raised from this auction will be donated to the Union Pacific Team supporting Komen More than Pink Walk. These donations will help support raising awareness for early detection and prevention of breast cancer, support women going through this disease and fund groundbreaking research to find a cure.

A group of strong women on a quest to improve women's opportunities at the railroad started a women's organization in the early 90’s. This organization was rebranded to “LEAD” in the 2000’s. Over the years LEAD has dedicated itself to its mission of fostering an environment that increases opportunities for women to be recruited, engaged, and advanced as Union Pacific Leaders.

LEAD boasts seven committees and multiple subcommittees that host year-round events focused on professional programming, personal development, mentoring and community involvement.

One event in particular is the LEAD Conference which is held bi-annually to allow participation in the bi-annual ALL ERG Conference. These conferences provide professional development and networking opportunities while uniting women from across the Union Pacific system.
