Celebrating the Deep Peace Trust

Update: we've extended the auction by a few days to Sunday, March 16th, just because of everything going on at the moment in Australia. Thanks for understanding, and for your support. You're all so wonderful.

In a world that sees animals as commodities and pests, our sanctuary is a sacred, special, holy, and safe haven for the lucky souls who end up here. It’s a place where kindness and compassion rule.

Sanctuary disrupts the cycle of violence and suffering through compassion and love. It’s an act of kindness for the most vulnerable of our society — animals.

At A Place of Peace, over a 30-year period, we’ve taken in hundreds of at-risk animals, from wild goats, wild horses and wild cats to cows, dogs, sheep and geese, and created a world where they get the rehabilitation they need as they live together in peace and harmony with the wildlife.

For us, this is a way to give back to animal-kind by being kind. But our sanctuary also has become a living example of peace for all species — the very world we are working towards.

Proceeds from the auction will go toward paying off our hay bill, which piled up during the recent drought conditions here in southeastern NSW. It caused us to buy winter-levels of hay into the summer at higher-than-normal prices. No animal missed a meal, which we're super proud of and grateful to our hay supplier for.

There are so many fun items to auction, from artworks, consults, and beautiful nights away to jewellery and books. There's truly something for everyone.

Thank you so much for your support!
