About Our Auction

The Thunderbird Bursary program launched for the 2020-21 season, with all profits from last year's Thunderball going to help 22 Thunderbird players aged 7 to 17 stay on the ice this season.

All profits from this year's TBirds Take Out Dinner and the Silent Auction will continue to support keeping players on the ice. For more information on the TBirds Take Out Dinner go to https://www.vancouvertbirds.ca/thunderball/

Thank you to all of our teams, parents and other business partners who have donated items for this year! We have almost 90 items...and counting! To help you go through them we have assigned a letter at the start of each title to keep similar type items together and you can also sort by category using the drop down menu located on the top menu bar. The categories are:

A: All things sport
B: Beauty, Fashion and Art
C: Corks & more
D: Dining & Entertainment
E: Electronics
F: Family Fun & Food

If you want the auction to do the work for you - just select the "Proxy Bid" option and enter in your max bid. The system will increase by the minimum increment anytime you are outbid up to your maximum.

UPDATE FEB 17: With how amazing the response has been, we have changed our target! The new one is ambitious, but as we have more items still coming in, we wanted to go big and see how close we can come to the new target of $20,000! You have already exceeded expectations so no matter where we actually land at the end, the auction will have been a HUGE success but why not reach for the stars?! Thank you to all of our bidders!

About Vancouver Thunderbirds

Based in the westside of Vancouver, our ~1000 players and their families form the TBirds family. Our main goal is to not only provide a chance for youth to start on the path to a lifelong love with hockey but also to have a positive impact on the lives of our TBird family on and off the ice.

Each year we have players who need a bit of financial help to be able to continue to play Canada's game.
