About Prevent-Heal-Thrive
Prevent-Heal-thrive's mission is to provide resources for affordable, evidence-based complementary cancer prevention, care and aftercare in conjunction with conventional medical treatment in southern and southeastern Connecticut. Financial supplementation is offered for that which insurance doesn't cover. Funds raised go directly to an integrative cancer care program which includes acupuncture, oncology massage and caregiver massage, nutritional therapy, mental health counseling and therapeutic exercise. We outsource to local vetted practitioners in these disciplines. Our volunteers provide valuable peer mentoring and emotional support.
