Fund Us Into Our Future

2020 has begun and the OutCenter of Southwest Michigan continues to do the heavy lifting of creating change across Berrien, Cass and Van Buren Counties.

Beyond the success of helping pass the first nondiscrimination ordinance in this area, the OutCenter continues to work in close partnership with County wide systems such as Berrien RESA and Van Buren ISD, helping to bring important information and best practices that support at-risk LGBTQ+ students across our area.

Now working with the Berrien County Family Court Division to educate department staff, it’s interesting to note that we are able to make these kinds of advancements in 2020, given what else is playing out on the national stage.

We know there is a lot at stake for the LGBTQ+ community this year given the upcoming SCOTUS decision about discrimination and, of course the 2020 elections. That is why now, more than ever, we need your support to grow our efforts immediately.
