The Art of Water

The Art of Water is a virtual silent art auction focused on water as a healing element. This auction only gives away experiences focused on comfort, relaxation, and stress relief.
Many people seek relaxation in different ways so we have asked private trainers, coaches, spas, breweries, artists, private chefs, and restaurants to provide unique experiences that we don't normally have access to. Our sponsors are community leaders, practice safe COVID measures, and are excited to meet you.

About MissionCleanWater

MissionCleanWater is a 501c3 working to create a new etiquette in the clean water and sanitation sector. Our mission focuses on providing clean water and proper hygiene to underserved communities. We believe everyone should have access to clean water, regardless of their age, religion, ethnicity, sex, or income.

Clean water is a global issue. Close to one billion people do not have access to clean water. Young children, primarily girls, will spend their day walking to find water for their family. The walk can be dangerous, as they are often alone on the road and the wells are deep and easy to fall into. This also causes the children to miss school. The water they bring back is often dirty, filled with bacteria, and shared with animals.

We hold ourselves to high standard. A World Health Organization study has shown that 60% of all clean water projects in Sub-Saharan Africa have failed and no longer work after just one year of operation. This has to change. Working at a grassroots community level, our approach revolves around relationship building, training, and long-term involvement. We don’t want to “build a well and walk away”. We want to fully maximize the return of their water investment for years and generations to come.

In all of our communications, we strive to meet the community at their level. We want to show the beautiful and honest side of their life with integrity –– rather than falling into stereotypes as we tell these stories back home in America.

Through our efforts, we have provided water to 4,200 community members and 2,500 students.
