Virtual Silent Auction 2021

Due to COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, we have cancelled our signature fundraising event, The Tee Cup Charity Golf Tournament for a second year. This event has provided generous funding for our Front Porch Counselling program for 14 years! In 2021, we still have funding needs, now more than ever, as families are dealing with financial struggles and emotional hurdles connected to or exacerbated by the pandemic. With our funding needs at top of mind, we have decided to once again hold a Virtual Silent Auction generously sponsored by Blundell Centre with 100% of the net proceeds going towards Touchstone Family Association.

Touchstone Family Association is a vital family resource that has been offering family counselling in Richmond since 1983. As a non-profit, our community-based, social service agency offers a range of services. During the 2020-21 fiscal year, our Front Porch program provided more than 2300 hours of counselling to 120 families in need through our Front Porch Counselling Program. All clients are self-referred, and no payment is required. Touchstone requests a ‘pay-it-forward’ approach, and some have made donations of an amount they can afford.
