TexProtects Resource Room: Parent Survival Kits

If you would like to provide concrete needs and supports to families at-risk or in the child welfare system during COVID-19, you may "purchase" an item or package below that TexProtects will distribute to our partners who will get the items in the hands of the families they serve. All donations are tax deductible.

**Due to the passage of the federal coronavirus relief bill (CARES Act), taxpayers are granted an "above-the-line" deduction for up to $300 in charitable donations in 2020, meaning the break is available to individuals who claim the standard deduction.

What We Do: To achieve our mission, TexProtects engages in research, advocacy and education. TexProtects advocates for better policies, reforms and appropriate increases in federal, state and local funding for three priority areas: (1) Prevention: Increasing investment in proven child abuse prevention programs; (2) Protection: Strengthening and reforming the CPS system; (3) Healing: Ensuring victims receive adequate and accessible treatment
