A Taste of Killarney - Food, Wine & Art
Saturday 17th September 2016
From 6.30pm
Tramore Place, Killarney Heights

"Food"
Tickets are no longer available for purchase. However, if you have missed out on ordering a meal you are still welcome to come along, there will be food available for purchase on the night as Yu Wok In and Sorrenti’s will be open for dinner, there will be a limited number of additional curries available from Talking Heads Café, while Le Parisien Café, Fuji Japanese Bakery and Sparrow’s Place will be open for light snacks and coffee. So you can still join in the auction and entertainment.

"Wine"
The evening will be BYO however, Wine Haven have generously offered to donate a percentage of their profits from the evening to Killarney Heights Public School. So to support the school please purchase your alcoholic, and non alcoholic beverages from them. They will also have a supply of plastic glasses to hand out with each purchase.

Most Importantly "Art"
Each class at KHPS and KU preschool has produced a beautiful piece of artwork that anyone would love to have in their home. These artworks will be on display A Taste of Killarney event in the Vibe Dance studios from 6pm on Saturday 17th September.

The art auction will begin with a online auction through this website, please click the link to "Art" on the left to view and bid on the artworks. Please note each classes artwork will start at a reserve of $150 this is to cover the cost of framing and finishing each piece.

The online auction on the art will be open until 8.30pm on Saturday 17th September, where it will close. The 10 pieces of art which we believe have more bidding in them will be further auctioned by our auctioneer at the event.

Leading the bidding online does not guarantee you have secured the piece of art, you will need to attend the event to bid live or register a proxy vote on this website at the close of the online auction and one of our volunteers will bid on your behalf at the live auction.

Donated Online Auction Items

There are a number of items and vouchers which have been donated by to Killarney Heights Public School. Please click the link 'Donated Items" on the left to view the list. These items will only be available via the silent auction on this website and will close off at 8.30pm on Saturday 17th September.

Happy Bidding!

Photography Thank you
We'd like to give thanks to Jennifer from J Roberts Photography and Adrian from Rising Sun Photography for providing the photographs of the artwork which you see on the website.

About Killarney Heights Public School

Killarney Heights PS offers a unique English - French Bilingual Program which has led to many French speaking parents and parents interested in languages education for their children moving to the area.

This is one of our major fundraising events for the year, your support in attending, purchasing a meal, bidding on the children’s art and buying tickets in the raffles, is fundamental to the P&C Fundraising. These funds make significant contributions towards capital works such off grid air conditioning for classrooms.

Live Event Information

A Taste of Killarney - Food, Wine & Art
Tramore Place, Sat 17th September
Online Auction will Close at 8.30pm

Only 10 items will be ‘live’ auctioned. The auction website itself will be live on the night at the event until 8.30pm. In the hour leading up to the close of bidding we will have the auction items being shown LIVE on a big screen so everyone can see where the bidding is at and get involved, we’ll also talk through any of the action so no one misses out. Then at the close we will select 10 items to continue bidding on, these items will probably not be the ones with the highest bids already, they will more than likely be the middle of the range items were we believe there is more bidding to go.

If you can’t attend the event on the night you can still be involved in the bidding online, and any item that does continue on with our auctioneer you can place a "Proxy Bid” online and one of our volunteers will bid on your behalf.

We believe auctioning online will add to the excitement of the night, and keep the atmosphere buzzing where everyone can see what’s happen with the auction and not interrupt the fun socialising aspect of the evening through 32 auction items at the dinner.

Bidding via this site will be open until 8.30pm on Saturday 17 September 2016.

Thereafter all bids will be transferred to the Art Auction at A Taste of Killarney Event at Tramore Place. Leading the bidding at 8.30pm on Sat 17 Sept does not guarantee you have secured the artwork.
