9th Annual Soirée for TangoStride ~ Silent Auction

We're raising funds to ensure that money is never a barrier for people with mobility challenges who want to leave their wheelchair, walker or cane behind and get movin’ with the TangoStride Program! Join us for a dressy afternoon affair, live tango music, silent auction (beginning the week prior to our event), and surprises from our students to help us keep boogie-ing on down the road! Can't join in-person? Some items are available virtually or can be delivered or shipped (please see description). Attending our Milonga for TangoStride later and want to pick up your items then? (let us know at check-out and we'll hold them for you) Let's celebrate our TangoStride students. Your contribution will impact people’s lives, right here in the Puget Sound, and beyond.

With the help of our partners and fueled by our generous community, Hugs that Empower 501c3 nonprofit provides a life-changing opportunity for people with disabilities due to stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), or neurological conditions such as M.S. and Parkinson's to improve balance, strength, and overall walking ability through our dance-based TangoStride™ Classes. Gabriela Condrea's TangoStride Technique has been featured in The Seattle Times, Chicago Tribune, Q13 FOX, UW Medicine News, KING 5, KIRO 7 & CBS.

Hugs that Empower was founded to help people with disabilities improve their walking ability and reach their full potential for a vibrant life, and to aid in filling the gap post-rehabilitation through the TangoStride™ Program, subsidizing classes for those in need.
