Star of the North Maternity Home - Spring Auction

Thanks to the generosity of our community and supporters, Star of the North Maternity Home was able to complete our She is Home Capital Campaign and host a virtual fundraiser and online auction in 2021 with the goal of raising enough money to move into our "forever home". Mission accomplished!

However as we all know, home ownership doesn't stop with the purchase. There is a mortgage, renovations, maintenance and daily upkeep to be done. That's why this year, our 2022 SON Auction focus is to raise money to support the general operating expenses of our home and programming. SON Online Auction will begin March 18, 2022 at 3 pm and end April 8, 2022 at 5 pm. Please bid high and often!

Since 2019 when we opened our doors, we have supported over 79 homeless pregnant mom and those who have recently given birth and with children with a residence and program at no cost to them. We provide the basics that every mom and baby in this world deserves -- 24/7 staff/volunteers, food, shelter, and clothing. We also identify each woman's needs and hopes as they develop their own personal life care plan. We provide access to education and including life coaching, parenting classes, and going back to school or finding a job. For all, it is a moment in time where they can begin healing from their life’s trauma with support in order to have a healthy pregnancy and gain new positive relationships and get back to independence.
