Fall Auction 2026

Super Senior Cat Sanctuary is a safe place for senior cats age 13+ to find retirement and adoption. Our focus is cats at risk of euthanasia across the province. Many of these cats find themselves in shelters when their guardians have died or unable to care for them.

We provide a loving retirement home for them as long as they need it. Any medical care they need and all the snuggles, warm nap spots and play time they want. It surprises many people to learn that we receive hundreds of rehoming and transfer requests every year for cats 13 and older. The need in Ontario is huge. Unfortunately we can only help with some of these cats each year due to the very high medical costs. Every cat we take in costs a minimum $2000 per year and usually more if medical needs arise (dentals, emergency, ultrasound, pain management, end of life care etc). We do not take cats into our care unless we are certain we can care for them the remainder of their lives. This is because their health could change and they become a permanent resident.

We are located in Ontario Canada with most of our fosters homes in Brantford/Hamilton. We are the only rescue in Ontario that focuses on super senior cats and one of a handful that focus on senior cats. 

Senior and medical needs cats are incredibly loving, resilient and playful. All cats deserve love and care into their golden years and we will continue to advocate for them.

Welcome to our 2026 Fall auction for Super Senior Cat Sanctuary. This fundraiser is in support of veterinary care. Last year we spent over $30,000 on vet care for the cats! We always have additional items for purchase which are available to those who have bid on items and those who have not (or didn't win). We have added several "Buy Now" options which you can add at any time!
