About Our Auction
Welcome to the 2021 Sprague School auction! Click the green "View All Items" button to join in on the fun. Look for the green "Donate" button above to offer your support in lieu of bidding. Thank you for supporting Sprague!
Donations directly fund the Creative Arts & Sciences guest speakers mentioned below, yearbooks for every family, and transportation for field trips when they resume. Community celebrations like the Sprague Fall Festival, Kindergarten Ice Cream Social, and the next in-person Spring Auction will also be funded from our proceeds this weekend. The more funds we raise, the better the CAS programming and the bigger the parties!
Auction funds feed the robust Creative Arts & Sciences (CAS) Program which brought Michael LaFosse, an origami master to school this year via live-streaming, and helped children connect origami art to concepts in geometry. Author Rob Buyea gave an in-depth writer's workshop in which students delved into rich writing materials that they could take home and keep. Storyteller Valerie Tutson recounted the stories of slaves from the time of the American Revolution and how their efforts paved the way to abolishing slavery in Massachusetts. This spring, CAS brings a socially-distanced, guided nature walk with a naturalist to observe birds of prey like live owls! Many thanks go to Peggy Collier for planning this year's amazing & creative CAS programming.
THANK YOU TO OUR AUCTION HELPERS who secured donations (Bry Tartamella, Ann Luu, Sarah Lyn Kashou, Marissa Rosenbaum, Melissa Coyle, Jo Kaplan Lee, Matt Hawkes, Rose Nolan, Vanessa Bhang, Paula Penta, Johanna Cahoon, Becca Cahaly, Lindsey Kisielius, Amy Chase, Jen Bowers, Alexa Goldin, Mary Tricolli-Burke, and Michelle Boecher), wrote the package descriptions (Liz Sower), and uploaded items to the website with images (Kara Dooley, Peggy Collier, Jeni Dymek).
THANK YOU TO OUR PARTY HOSTS this weekend: Judy & Nate Walsh, Ashley & Patrick Delahunty, Rebecca & Jake Lilley, Jeni Dymek & Chris Naumes.
Please enjoy all of the virtual and in-person parties planned for this SPRAGUE SPRING WEEKEND and help to SUPPORT OUR SCHOOL!
