The Sports Shed’s motto is “being about it”. We know that although talking is a
good starting point, doing is what creates change. This rings true with our latest initiative: The
Sports Shed Goes Silent is a silent auction to raise money for the many programs The Sports
Shed is actively working with to provide quality gear and other sports related resources in the
most needed areas of Chicago. Participating in the silent auction gives you a chance to win
awesome prizes PLUS you will be helping The Sports Shed as they give thousands of kids the
opportunity to be active and involved in sports!

Wine baskets, golf, and personal workout and tutoring sessions are just a few of the many

The Sports Shed creates opportunities for youth from under resourced communities in Chicago to participate in sports by providing resources to help organizations and schools start, grow and sustain quality sports programming. 42% of kids who do not participate in sports cite cost as the #1 reason.
