About Edith Houser:
Always sharp, witty and stylish, Edith (1924-2012) passed away in early September. She was a friend to many and the muse to her husband, James Houser, who was both a sculptor and a painter. Edith also had an abiding love for all animals, the arts and artists; thus, her estate has asked Spoke the Hub to coordinate a "silent auction" to find the contents of Edith's apartment a good home and to raise money for her two loves, Art and Animals. All proceeds from this auction will benefit both the North Shore Animal League and local community arts organization, Spoke the Hub Dancing.
Please come view the work in person at Edith's apartment on Sunday, October 21st, between 2:00 and 7:00pm. You can also enjoy live music and delicious refreshments will be available, created by food artist Sung Uni Lee. For further information on the Open House, please RSVP Spoke the Hub and we will send you the address on the morning of the 21st.
Thank you for helping Spoke the Hub raise money to support artists and all our community arts programs for children and adults, as well as the North Shore Animal League which places hundreds of abused, abandoned and unwanted pets in loving homes each year.
