Soto Mission of Aiea 2024 Auction

Welcome to our 3rd Annual Online Auction! After five years of planning, in September 2023, the Soto Mission of Aiea Activity Center finally got underway with the demolition of the old Japanese School and the minister’s residence. A groundbreaking ceremony and blessing took place to kickoff the new construction. Due to several construction delays, the project is estimated to be completed in 2025.

The Soto Mission of Aiea Activity Center is a beautifully designed, two-story, 5000 square feet building and courtyard. This multipurpose facility will support an adult care center and meditation hall, and will enable us to host classes, educational events, and workshops. It will be a gathering place for current and future generations of members and the entire community. Funds raised from this auction will go towards the construction of this historic project. The Soto Mission of Aiea is a 501(3)c non-profit organization whose mission is to practice, promote, and perpetuate the Buddha's teaching of love, mercy, and compassion.
