Savour Our Neighbourhood 2021

Savour Our Neighbourhood, the yearly fundraiser event for the Mount Pleasant Family Centre Society is going virtual this year! We are working hard to plan a fun-filled virtual happy hour in September to celebrate the Centre’s 45th Anniversary.

At our 8th annual fundraising event, we will be celebrating and supporting LOCAL! This year's event puts the spotlight on the Society's 45th anniversary supporting local, refugee, and immigrant families in Vancouver with an online happy hour featuring local beer and snacks, musical entertainment, an online auction, draws, and more! The event will be taking place on September 9th from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm.

The Mount Pleasant Family Centre Society provides a Family Drop-In program for families with children aged 0-6 and an Early Years Refugee program that helps settle refugee families with young children into life in Vancouver. 100% of the proceeds of Savour Our Neighbourhood will be used to fund the important work the Mount Pleasant Family Centre does to support families in our community.

At Mount Pleasant Family Centre Society, we provide child-centered programs that nurture healthy growth and development for all families. We primarily support families with very young children (birth to age 6) through our Family Drop-In program, parent education and support groups, and our collaborative physical literacy program for toddlers and parents.
