Soka Guitars

We are auctioning off 6 beautiful community art pieces made for Soka Fest. Each venue participating in the festival this year has its very own collaged guitar. These guitars were made from recycled cardboard and then decorated by the Reading music community using old newspapers, magazines, fabric scraps and more! Each one is unique and decorated to match the theme of its venue.

We want these guitars to go to nice homes, so if you like the look of one in particular or a certain venue has sentimental value to you, we encourage you to place a bid! All funds raised from this auction will go towards Reading Pride.

SOKA Fest is a brand new multi-genre music festival taking over Reading town centre across multiple venues for one unforgettable day of live music, community and creativity.

It comes to you from:

The Butler
Oakford Social Club
Market House
Broad Street Mall
The Boundary
Purple Turtle
Milk

Created in loving memory of Sophie Sheehan, SOKA Fest is raising money for Reading Pride while celebrating local music, inclusivity and the independent spirit of Reading’s creative scene.
