About Our Auction
The Sharewood Project is a non-for profit organization run by the students of Tufts University School of Medicine. Sharewood works to provide free health care and health resources to Boston’s medically underserved, and is maintained largely through fundraising efforts. Our annual silent auction provides a large portion of the funds that go toward medical supplies, equipment, and operating costs each year, and we hope that you consider contributing to our cause and helping to keep Sharewood alive. About Sharewood Project
The Sharewood Project is a health education program that provides free healthcare to the underserved of the Greater Boston Area. Sharewood is led by volunteer medical students and physicians affiliated with Tufts University School of Medicine and Cambridge Health Alliance, with help from other health professional students and translators from Tufts University. Under the supervision of physicians and other healthcare providers, students perform school physicals, oral cancer screenings, confidential STD/HIV testing, blood pressure screenings, etc.
