The Art of Science and Hope

The Art of Science and Hope art walk was sparked by a grassroots group of artists and organizers in Chapel Hill, NC. A pop-up art walk along Franklin Street and cross streets was held during the month of May in Chapel Hill, NC, featuring more than 80 pieces of local art. On plywood measuring 3-feet by 4-feet, the art is intended to convey expressions of thankfulness and hopefulness marking the ongoing rollout of COVID-19 vaccines and appreciation for the many people whose dedication and leadership have helped us endure this past year.

Bid on your favorite pieces! All funds raised will be donated to the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center to boost their work inspiring the next generation of scientists! A BIG thank you to all artists who contributed to this inspiring community event.
