Saga Christmas Auction 2021

Our goal for the Saga Christmas Auction 2021 is to raise funds to continue to support and improve the general health and well being of the domestic and wild animals of the island. We are able to do so by providing shelter and medical care to animals in need, public education programs and through spay/neuter and vaccination campaigns.

Our mission is to prevent cruelty and replace it with kindness to all animals.

Saga’s long term vision is to be able to build a permanent animal clinic/education center in San Pedro, Belize and continue working towards a solution to end animal abuse, neglect and overpopulation.

All prizes have been generously donated by local businesses in San Pedro, Belize.

Saga Humane Society operates the only non- profit veterinary clinic on the island of Ambergris Caye. It is a full-service hospital, with a veterinarian on staff. Pet owners can make appointments for wellness care such as spay/neuter surgeries and vaccinations, as well as treatment for illnesses or injuries. We have an in-house pharmacy that has the most important veterinary medications in stock, thanks in a large part to the generosity of volunteers, residents, and visitors.

The Saga Humane Society was founded in 1999, primarily to monitor and control the cat and dog populations on Ambergris Caye. Through assisted cost spay/neuter and adoption, humane education program, Saga improves the general health and well being of the domestic and wild animals, as well as the humans of the island.
