About Our Auction

The attorneys at Richie, Wickstrom & Wachs Law Firm are committed to working together to help make a difference in our community. The Eau Claire YMCA does this each and every day. It is a non-profit organization with the mission: “We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities." As a way to give back to this organization, the attorneys at Richie, Wickstrom & Wachs are auctioning this Kubb set with their logo laser-engraved to benefit individuals who may not be able to afford the programs offered at the YMCA.

The Eau Claire YMCA provides classes and programs that promote "youth development, healthy living and social responsibility." Its Financial Assistance program provides financial assistance for more than 2,000 low-income people each year who cannot afford full-priced memberships and programs.

The proceeds from this auction will benefit the YMCA's Financial Assistance Program. We hope to promote physical activity and a healthy lifestyle with the sale of this Kubb set. The highest bidder will not only receive the set, they will also receive a certificate for a one-hour Kubb lesson with Eric Anderson, director of the National Kubb Championship. Eric's team won 2nd place at the World Championship in Sweden in 2014, where he was named "Best Player in the Finals."

This online auction will run from October 9th at 9 a.m. through November 9th at 11 p.m. The highest bidder will win the Kubb set and lesson, and their donation will help individuals within our community benefit from the programs and services provided by the YMCA.
