Rukundo's 13th Annual Silent Auction

Welcome to Rukundo International’s Bid for Brighter Futures 13th Annual Online Auction!

Whether you're near or far, you can help change lives in Uganda—one bid at a time!

Our auction features 250+ unique items and experiences generously donated by local businesses and supporters around the world. Every dollar raised directly supports Rukundo International's programs and helps us complete the final room in our three-story primary school, a dedicated Examination & Multipurpose Hall at Rukundo Preparatory School.

This hall will provide a secure space for Uganda's Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), school assemblies, parent meetings, indoor learning, performances, and community events. More importantly, completing this hall means finishing the entire three-story school building, a milestone years in the making that will serve hundreds of children for generations to come.

Local? Join us in person at our 13th Annual Silent Auction on Sunday, September 27, from 5:00–8:00 PM at Lone Oak Farm Brewing Company in Olney, MD! Celebrate Andrea's birthday with purpose while enjoying live music, cultural performances, raffle prizes, delicious food and drinks, and an inspiring evening dedicated to transforming lives.

Every bid, every dollar, and every share helps build brighter futures for the children and families we serve. Thank you for being part of this incredible journey!

Rukundo International's mission is to empower the most vulnerable communities in Kabale, Uganda through educational and economic opportunities that create pathways to self-sustaining futures.

Our flagship program, Rukundo Preparatory School, serves 250 of the region's most vulnerable children. The school takes a holistic approach to education, providing not only high-quality academics, but also nutritious meals, medical care, counseling, school supplies, clean water, and a safe, loving environment where every child has the opportunity to thrive. Our school’s mission is "to create world-changers through the power of high-quality education, love in action, and humble service."

Beyond the school, Rukundo International operates a vibrant community center that welcomes nearly 300 children every Sunday, a Girls' Empowerment Program that has graduated more than 1,800 girls across local public schools, a Women's Agricultural Cooperative that equips women with livestock and business skills to build sustainable incomes, and a Scholarship Program that supports the educational needs of 52 students.

Together, these programs are helping families break the cycle of poverty and build stronger, more resilient communities...one child, one family, and one opportunity at a time.
