RSR 5th Annual Online Silent Auction

Ruff Start Rescue is hosting our 5th annual, one week, online auction starting on Monday November 30th (6am) (Cyber Monday) - Monday Dec 7th 2015 (8pm) (Bidding can last up to half hour longer past 8pm if people are bidding within 1 minute of each other so plan for 8:30pm)
*If your item is to be shipped, you will receive it BEFORE Christmas. We will ship immediately after the auction ends as long as you have paid.

*NEW THIS YEAR* We will be having an open house VIEWING of auction items on Thursday December 3rd from 5-8pm at our office in Princeton (604 1st St. Princeton, MN 55371). This will be a viewing only and will give you a chance to come and check out the available items in person. All bidding will still take place online. We realize some items don't do justice in pictures so we want to give you the chance to view them in person.

All proceeds will benefit the many animals in need by funding vet costs, food and supplies for foster animals with Ruff Start Rescue. Ruff Start Rescue has saved over 4,000 animals since inception in 2010 and fundraisers like these help make this possible!

This is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. Our auction will always start on Cyber Monday! Our website receives around 5,000+ views a day during our online auction and we make sure to list your business name under the items donated!

Ruff Start Rescue (RSR) is a 501(c)3 non-profit, no-kill animal rescue in central MN. We are a primarily foster-based organization as we believe a home environment is less stressful than a shelter, and promotes healthier and happier companion animals. We rescue animals from a variety of situations including local impounds & high-kill shelters across the state of Minnesota as well as around the United States. We rely on dedicated volunteer foster homes to provide a safe and loving environment for these animals to be cared for until their forever homes are found.

Beyond our animal rescue program, we strive to provide educational resources to the public particularly with the younger generations. We offer a children's animal welfare education program which provides informative presentations on animal welfare issues and tools to be responsible pet owners.

Since March of 2010, RSR has saved over 24,000 dogs, cats, and even a few small critters (guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc.) At any given time, our foster network has the capability to foster 400+ companion animals. However, our foster group is quickly expanding to be able to rescue even more homeless animals. Our organization does not receive government funding to support our programs so we rely solely on fundraising events, public donations, adoption fees, and grants to support our rescue efforts.

All proceeds of RSR's 2023 Online Auction will go toward supporting the veterinary expenses of our rescue animals! Our goal with this auction is to raise as much as we can for our Animal Care Fund - we expect to spend more than $800,000 on veterinary expenses this year!
