Roots Coffee House

We are raising money for Preemptive Love. Preemptive Love unmakes violence. They choose to love first as a way to create understanding and empathy for people in communities that are both alike and different. Last summer, when Beirut was decimated by the factory explosions, we fundraised for Preemptive Love to support their work to rebuild that community. We want to continue to raise money for this organization and pursue partnerships in other ways.

This year, we are committing to pursuing our faith through the practice of justice. Last summer, explosions decimated the people of Beirut. We hosted a fundraiser to support Preemptive Love as a way to do our part to bring healing for that community.

We want to develop a stronger partnership with Preemptive Love in the longterm to continue to support people who live in communities outside our own. Check out their website to learn more about what they're doing.
