Rockfest Fundraiser

Help the very special 10th anniversary of the Orkney Rock Festival and support the local charity Orkney Sands. We have some amazing local one off items, experiences and a unique item form a big band with Orkney connections.

All takings will be for Orkney Rock Festival and The Orkney Sands Charity.

Orkney Live Wire is a group of music enthusiasts who aim to promote and support live music in and around the county and support local charity's. 


Orkney Live Wire was rallied together in the summer of 2014 by Kristian Cooper to organise Orkney's first Rock Festival, held in early Sept 2014- the festival was a massive success, showcasing local artists and visiting acts from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Shetland, and inspired the organisers to continue in their promotion of live music throughout the Orkney Islands.


As well as the Festival, Orkney Live Wire promotes gigs throughout the year, notably on County Show night, at Halloween, the New Year, and other times the fancy takes us. Keep an eye out

This auction is ran on the behalf of the Orkney Live Wire by Annie Glue who is a member of the community who runs it.

Rock Fest Fundraiser is being held at The Storehouse Restaurant with Rooms in Kirkwall, Orkney on the 28th of march 2025. 
The night will kick off with a dinner then there are three local bands playing for the rest of the evening. 
The online auction will end at 6pm but can include proxy bids as the auction will continue until 11pm in person. all winners being contacted by 11am the following morning.
