Given a choice, older adults often prefer to stay in their community—and in most cases, in their own homes—for as long as possible. RCCOA helps make that choice possible. Routt County Council on Aging is an independent 501 (c)3 nonprofit organization. Our mission is to determine the needs of older adults in Routt County and to make every effort to meet those needs with appropriate action.

Routt County Council On Aging (RCCOA) is the hub for seniors in Routt County. We reduce isolation through connection. RCCOA has always strived to meet the needs of older adults in our community. We continue to be flexible and creative in meeting those needs. We have been providing over 250 home delivered meals each week across Routt County, from Toponas to Clark and Steamboat Springs to Hayden. We have added shopping, errand services and non-medical home care. We couldn’t do our work without generous donors.

Routt County saw the largest growth in its senior population of anywhere in the nation over the past 10 years. And this trend is on the rise. Please consider supporting RCCOA, and local senior services by participating in our silent auction. Our seniors deserve it.
