Purses for a Purpose

Purses for A Purpose is an online holiday auction campaign that lets you bid on BRAND NEW designer handbags and support our mission all from the comfort of your couch!

Proceeds will directly benefit our community programs, allowing us to expand and enhance the classes, counseling, and coaching we offer and continue to provide these services at no cost for clients.

How It Works:
• You must be logged in to this site to participate. Register here by creating an account.
• Beginning November 17 and once each day through December 18, one designer handbag will be posted on the auction website each day with a starting bid.
• Bidding opens at 8:00 am and closes at 6:00 pm each day.
• The winner of each purse will be sent a PayPal invoice at 6:00 pm that day. If not paid within two hours, that bid is void and the purse invoice will be sent to the next highest bidder.
Purses will be mailed via FedEx once payment is received. Shipping is free.

Mystery Gift Raffle

To add to the fun, each week registered bidders will be entered in our “Mystery Gift Raffle” to win a sur-prize designer item! Prizes include luggage tags, umbrellas, key chains, notebooks, water bottles, lanyards, and more! Additional raffle tickets are available for $7 each on Eventbrite. Winners will be notified via email. Prizes will be shipped via USPS to the address used at auction registration. We provide low-to-moderate income families with no-cost services and programs to assist them on their journey to independence and connect them with organizations and resources that help them along the path.

We also present professional development and training sessions for businesses and organizations to help build awareness about the challenges faced by those living in poverty in order to foster understanding and create a more unified community.
