Pledge for Change

As a part of our 11th Annual White Ribbon Event, Pledge for Change, the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center is thrilled to share our online silent auction leading up to the in-person event taking place on Thursday, March 30th at Andover Country Club.

Proceeds from the auction will directly support programs for kids and teens in our communities - such as Healthy Relationships, Teen Dating Violence Prevention, Bystander Education and Girls Inc. of the Seacoast Area.

Since 1982, the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center has been helping individuals and families impacted by domestic violence. What first began as the compassionate mission of several volunteer parishioners of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Newburyport has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit organization serving adult and child survivors of domestic violence from Newburyport to the Merrimack Valley; and providing tools and strategies to reduce domestic violence homicides across the country. In addition to our domestic violence support services and trainings, the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center offers Youth Empowerment Services (YES), which educate students how to lead conversations about healthy relationships, recognize signs of an abusive relationship, and become empowered to make positive and healthy decisions. The online auction will close on Wednesday, March 29th at 12 noon EST. Bidding will resume in-person at our live event, Pledge for Change happening Thursday, March 30th at Andover Country Club.

Registration for the event has closed, but we still have limited tickets available. Please email lcragg@jeannegeigercrisiscenter.org to register.

For those who can't attend the live event, and will only be participating in the online auction, have the option of entering Proxy Bids which we will honor during live event bidding. During the live event, we will continue bidding for online proxy bidders, by writing bids on the bid sheets, making sure to not exceed the maximum proxy bid amounts. Items will be coordinated for pick up or shipping following the event.
