Pink Heart Funds Executive Board welcomes you to Out of Bounds: Cancer Awareness
Ball! This board was formed by community professionals in the Mississippi Gulf Coast
business community to raise funds in the fight against cancer through our annual gala. Our
dedication, teamed with the support of the Mississippi Gulf Coast community and our
generous donors is pivotal to fulfilling our mission to support local cancer patient services.
In Mississippi, there will be 18,750 new cancer cases this year with 6,580 estimated
deaths. With regard to cancer care, availability and quality of care is influences by various
structural barriers, including access to care.

Launched in 2005, Pink Heart Funds has been tirelessly dedicated to making a difference
in the lives of individuals facing cancer-related hair loss and severe hair loss (Alopecia).
Our commitment extends to providing cranial prosthetics (wigs) for children and adults, as
well as offering free breast prosthetics and post-mastectomy bras for women. Beyond
tangible resources, we serve as a vital support and advice resource for those navigating
the challenges of these health conditions.
