Pet Portrait by Artist, Nicole Blair

Using a photograph, Nicole will create a one of a kind portrait of your companion animal using acrylic paint on an 8x10 canvas. (Portrait will be unframed). This makes a great holiday present or gift to someone who wants to honor a furry family member.

Nicole volunteers with the non-profit organization, Pillows for Paws. The group's mission is to enrich the lives of NYC shelter animals by bringing them beds, toys and treats while they wait for their forever homes.

About the artist: Nicole grew up around animals and from a very young age, realized the love she had for them and profound influence they had on her life. Her parents had a kennel and she worked taking care of and connecting with cats and dogs every day.
Nicole has always been creative. She went on to graduate as an accomplished Art major at Fairleigh Dickinson College. She then continued to teach painting and design classes as a professor at her Alma mater. Nicole has been published both commercially and commissioned privately for fine art. It gives Nicole great pleasure to be able to take her passion for painting and her love for animals and combine them into her art work.

Pillows for Paws is a 501c(3) non-profit volunteer run organization with
the mission to bring comfort and love to NYC shelter cats, dogs and rabbits.
The group does this by donating beds, toys, treats, grooming and medical
supplies to Animal Care Centers of NYC on a monthly basis.
