SafeSpot "Passion for Fashion" Silent Auction

Our amazing auction items for this year's SafeSpot's “Passion for Fashion” fundraising event and fashion show will be available for pre-event online bidding and BUY NOW! This is a great way to support SafeSpot if you are unable to attend the live event.

The online auction will continue until October 13th at 9pm. The closing bid for each item will be the opening bid at the Passion for Fashion event, held at Bloomingdale’s in Tysons Corner Sunday, October 15th at 9:30am.

If you are the highest bidder of an item after the Passion for Fashion event on Sunday October 15th, payment will be expected at the event. If you are not in attendance, you will be notified within 2 business days to arrange payment. REMEMBER: Your online and in-person bid is a financial commitment.

If you want to ensure you win an item, use the BUY NOW feature. All items purchased and paid for using the BUY NOW feature prior to the close of the online auction will be considered sold and will not be included in our event day silent auction.

Your financial support helps us serve the neglected and abused children in our community. Remember, 100% of the proceeds support SafeSpot. All winners that purchase items in excess of the fair market value will receive a charitable donation receipt for the amount paid above the fair market value.

Please bid generously! The demand for SafeSpot services in our area is great and the unfortunate truth is that this year SafeSpot is projected to provide services to 400 children and their families in Fairfax County.

SafeSpot  Children’s  Advocacy  Center  is  a  501(c)3  non-­profit  that provides  a  centralized,  family-­friendly  location  for the investigation of child  sexual  abuse  and  severe  physical abuse allegations.   SafeSpot brings  together  law   enforcement,  child  protective  services,  and other critical  professionals  to  minimize  the  number  of  times  a  child  has   to  describe  their abuse.  Starting  at  the  time of  the report,  SafeSpot provides  critical services, trauma therapy and makes referrals to support  children and their families down the path to well-­being in the aftermath of the abuse. All of SafeSpot's services are free and confidential.

All auction items will be available for silent auction bidding at the "Passion For Fashion" event on October 15th at Bloomingdales, Tysons Corner unless it was purchased using the BUY NOW feature. Silent auction items purchased using the BUY NOW feature must be paid in full prior to the "Passion for Fashion" event on October 15th.

If you are the highest bidder on an item(s) at the close of the online portion of our auction, you will be able to continue bidding on this item(s) at the "Passion for Fashion" event in person.

If you are the highest bidder of an item at the close of the online auction, and there are no additional bids on this item at the "Passion for Fashion" event, you are the winner and will be contacted arrange for payment and delivery of this item. You will be contacted using the information provided on the 32 auction website.

REMEMBER: YOUR BID IS A FINANCIAL COMMITMENT TO PURCHASE AN ITEM IF YOU ARE THE HIGHEST BIDDER AT THE CLOSE OF THE PASSION FOR FASHION EVENT SILENT AUCTION ON OCTOBER 15TH.
