Paddle Out for Justice

We are a group of Humboldt surfers/community members organizing the 2nd Annual Paddle Out for Justice. This event aims to raise awareness, honor lives lost, and raise money for six amazing local organizations led by and for People of Color:
- Black Humboldt
- Centro del Pueblo
- Eureka NAACP
- Humboldt Asian Pacific Islanders (HAPI) for Solidarity
- Native Women's Collective
- Two Feathers Native American Family Services.

Through this auction and direct cash donations, we hope to raise at least $5500 to donate to these organizations and cover minor event costs. Thank you for showing up and for your generosity! And thanks to all of the vendors/community members who donated auction items!

All are welcome! Sunday, June 6, 2021. Arrive at 9am for a 9:30 start.
BLM Breakwater, South of the Coast Guard Station, Twaya't - North Jetty - Samoa, Ca.
There will be several speakers, followed by a paddle out ceremony in the bay. Bring your own food, water, sun protection, watercraft, wetsuit. Flowers will be provided!
