Pucks for Purpose 2026 Charitable Auction

Welcome to the Pucks for Purpose 2026 Auction! All proceeds raised from this event will be split between two incredible causes: motionball for Special Olympics and the Canadian Cancer Society.

Your support helps empower athletes with intellectual disabilities through sports programs, giving them the opportunity to build skills, friendships, and confidence. In addition, funds raised will go towards advancing cancer research, providing support for those affected by cancer, and improving the quality of life for patients and their families.

Our annual fundraising goal is to raise $175,000.00 collectively throughout our annual events to make a lasting impact on both of these vital causes. Every bid brings us closer to our goal and brings hope to those in need. Pucks for Purpose is a student-run non-profit at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), raising over $130,000 last year with our Women's and Men's charity rivalry hockey game between Business and Arts/Science students. With a sold-out crowd of 1,700+ attendees supporting the Canadian Cancer Society and Special Olympics, we’re back this year, aiming even higher to raise $175,000+. We are aligned with both charitable organizations, ensuring the majority of funds raised remain in the province of Nova Scotia.
