Pegasus Open Day Auction

In April 2020, Pegasus was set for a fabulous Open Day.

Our fundraising team and Open Day committee had collectively and creatively come up with all of the elements for a celebratory day of fun, fundraising & friendship – fête-style!

We were so excited – until the recent turn of events cut short our anticipation and a cancellation was not only considered but eventually enforced.

Disappointment is an understatement. But in true Pegasus grit-with-panache style, we turned it into excitement and put on our creative caps, once more.

We decided to go digital – at least with the raffle. Cue, this auction!

We wanted to honour and continue to support our sponsors – as well as keep up our spirits and our connection with all of you!

There are some lovely prizes – something for everyone, and we invite you to peruse and bid.

Did you know that Pegasus is one of Canberra's oldest local charities?

With its official inauguration in 1975, we continue to take great pride in delivering life-changing, horse-facilitated therapy to those living with a disability in Canberra and the local region.

The horses make Pegasus unique, and it is our interactions with them that foster results in the healing and growth of our participants – all of which is underpinned by our core values of commitment, respect, quality and connection.

Pegasus is not a government-funded organisation, so we survive on the tremendous support of individuals, community groups and local businesses.

We are continually bolstered by and in awe of this comradeship which fuels our fundraising efforts, daily.

We are particularly encouraged by the many silver linings – one of which is this online auction forum for raising funds, during these current times of crisis.
