Bigelow House Museum 30th Anniversary Celebration

Welcoming visitors to Olympia's oldest house has been a labor of love for our volunteer board and membership for the past 30 years. Historic preservation is a never-ending task; every summer you will find our volunteers hard at work sanding and painting the porch, cleaning our public restroom, and landscaping the grounds. We are fundraising to pay for supplies and services that cannot be done by volunteers, such as hazard tree removal and heating system repairs. We thank you for your support in maintaining this 165-year-old historic home for all to learn from and enjoy. 

The Olympia Historical Society and Bigelow House Museum preserves and shares the history and heritage of Olympia and the Bigelow House in a way that recognizes and values the diversity and rich cultures that gave rise to our community, is inclusive of all persons and perspectives, and informs and engages community members and visitors.
