Ollie Fest Auction 2019

Beginning April1st Oak Grove Elementary is starting our first ever online auction! The auctions will end at 2:30pm April 6th, the day of Ollie Fest.

This year we are raising money to help our school in areas needed. As you are aware, the county budget deficits affect all of our schools. We are trying to raise this money to help with programs like Music and Art Cultural programs, technology (our school was given a software update that made many of our old computers obsolete), helping give our classrooms extra educational items, and finishing funding the outdoor learning space, just to name a few.

The purposes of this local PTA in common with those of National PTA and NCPTA are:
~To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth
~To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community.
~To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth
~To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social education
