Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame

The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame is hosting an auction in support of our organization and our ability to preserve our region's rich sports history. Funds raised will go towards the preservation of artifacts, enhancing our educational programs, and keeping our doors open to the public! We enjoy being able to provide our services to the community and fundraising is a big part of what we do. With the implications of COVID-19, we have been switching to online platforms to help with fundraising we hope you enjoy looking through our auction items and maybe placing a bid or two!

The Northwestern Ontario Sports Hall of Fame was established in 1977 as a non-profit, charitable organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich and proud sports heritage of our region. We operate a sports heritage facility located in Thunder Bay, Ontario (219 May Street South) which includes a sports museum, library and archives and collection of artifacts. Throughout the year we provide educational and community programming and recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of the region’s athletes, builders and teams through Hall of Fame induction ceremonies.

As a non-profit organization we must undertake a variety of fundraising activities to help keep the doors open and the lights on.
