MSO's Winter On-Line Auction: 2022 Edition

In 2021, the MSO's inaugural auction helped us weather the impact of a canceled concert season.

This year it supports our efforts to gather safely with our community - limiting ticket sales (and earned income for the orchestra) to half capacity to allow for social distancing - and make possible the unique shared experience of live music.

We are deeply grateful for your support, and can’t wait to hear how a winning bid brings a bit of music into your life!

The Midcoast Symphony Orchestra provides an outlet for talented musicians to study, perform and share their love for symphonic music with audiences and the wider community through performances and educational activities for all ages. Led by Music Director Rohan Smith, its 80+ musician members all volunteer their time to rehearse and perform with the MSO. Traditionally, the orchestra performs eight concerts per season in Lewiston and Topsham, Maine. For the 2020-2021 pandemic season, the MSO moved to small, outdoor performances in the fall, virtual chats with Rohan Smith throughout the winter, and special opportunities like this auction. For the 2021-22, we are back to our normal schedule of concerts!
