About Our Auction
Our auction provides grants for students working unpaid, public interest internships. In 2021, MPILP provided over $120,000 in summer grants to 26 Maryland law students who completed approximately 10,000 hours of legal work.

About Maryland Public Interest Law Project
MPILP is a non-profit organization founded and run by students at the law school, and we have been around for over 30 years! Our goal is to raise money for grants to fund students who devote their summers to unpaid legal positions with non-profit legal agencies serving the underserved and underrepresented members of our community. Last year, MPILP provided over $120,000 in summer grants to 26 Maryland law students who completed approximately 10,000 hours of legal work.
