2023 Michigan AEYC Silent Auction

Proceeds from the auction benefits Michigan AEYC’s student scholarships and awards for early childhood educators in the field.

ALL payments must be made by Saturday, April 22nd by 11am or your item will go to the next highest bidder. If you place the winning bid, after the close of the auction on the evening of Friday, April 21st you will receive an email to the account you registered with your invoice from the auction website. You will pay for your item(s) through the auction platform. ALL ITEMS MUST BE PICKED UP. DUE TO HIGH COSTS, SHIPPING IS NOT AVAILABLE.

If you or your designated person (please contact derickson@miaeyc.org with your designated person) are unable to pickup your item during the time periods offered, it will go to the next highest bidder.

Michigan AEYC Silent Auction Rules and Disclaimer

By bidding in Michigan AEYC’s silent auction, bidders agree to the following auction rules:

1. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds unless otherwise noted. All items are “as is.” Michigan AEYC has attempted to describe and catalog items correctly, but neither warrants nor represents and shall not be responsible for the correctness of descriptions, genuineness, authorship, provenance, condition of the items or assumption of liability.

2. The auction item value listed is an estimate of fair market value. Items have not been appraised unless so noted. Any amount you pay above the fair market value estimate is normally tax deductible as a charitable contribution. Please consult your tax adviser to clarify amount of deduction.

3. Restaurant certificates do not include alcohol, tax, or gratuities unless specified.

4. Payment for items purchased must be made in full on the auction website. The website accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.

5. Following payments, you may pick up your purchases in the checkout area. You must show your paid emailed receipt for items to be picked up.

6. The purchaser, or their designee, must pick up and pay for all items by Tuesday, May 2nd unless special arrangements are made. Any item left unclaimed, without prior arrangements, will be sold and proceeds will go to Michigan AEYC.

7. Michigan AEYC reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the auction.

8. Unless otherwise specified, all auction gift certificates must be used within one year of the date of the auction.

9. Each person bidding assumes all risks and hazards related to the auction and items obtained at the auction. Each bidder agrees to hold harmless from any liability arising indirectly from Michigan AEYC, their elected and appointed officials, members and employees, sponsors, and/or volunteers connected with the auction.
