The Markham Jazz Festival is a not-for-profit organization with a mandate to enrich cultural life in the region by bringing emerging and established jazz artists to Markham for all to enjoy. Started in 1998, the Festival draws more than 20,000 residents and visitors to Main St. Unionville each August. Local and international artists deliver 30+ free, open-air performances, and in selected "jazz hot spots" around Markham. The Festival is presented by TD Bank Group through the TD Ready Commitment.
