Mental Health Matters - 2026

'Mental Health Matters' is Libbie Young Centre's (LYC) annual campaign to create awareness of LYC and the mental health need in our community. The campaign also raises funds in support of our programs and services.  This years on-line auction is in support of the Libbie Young Centre's Mental Health Day Program. 

The LYC Mental Health Day Program is specifically designed for Lloydminster residents living with a diagnosed mental illness. The program provides a safe, inclusive space where individuals living with mental illness can build skills, expand knowledge, and connect with their community. Through education, skill development, and social engagement, the program equips participants with the emotional, cognitive, and practical tools needed to live and work as independently as possible. The LYC Mental Health Day Program sees over 2,500 unique participants annually.

Libbie Young Center (LYC) is a community based non-profit organization that has operated in Lloydminster since 1983. The facility supports adults living with mental illness by providing education, life skills, supported living and day programming. Our programs provide a reliable source of support and enhance overall quality of life through person-centered care and service delivery that is recovery oriented and focused on prevention.
